Focus area: Sustainability, employment and volunteer opportunities, and community wellbeing (SDG 12, 8)
Deal size: $75,000 loan
Year: 2025
Home Again was looking to expand their operations: increasing the amount of furniture diverted from the landfill, employing more Canadians through the newcomer-employment program, and delivering more furniture to families in need.

The Newfoundland and Labrador Fellowship team provided a $75k loan to Home Again through the Fairlead Social Impact Fund, housed at the Memorial University Centre for Social Enterprise. In 2025 alone, the organization diverted 200+ tonnes of furniture from the landfill, provided 724 families and individuals with furnture to create safe and comfortable homes, and worked with over 75 volunteers who helped Home Again provide comfort and dignity.
