NADA approached the Vancouver Propel Impact Fund in an early stage in the company’s development. At the time, NADA was looking to grow its team to facilitate expansion of the zero-waste store model and scale the Tap(Re)Fill pay system technology.
The Vancouver Propel Impact Fund invested $50,000 in a convertible note as part of NADA’s pre-seed financing. The convertible note had a 3-year term and since the investment, NADA has gone on to raise its seed round. The Vancouver Propel Impact Fund was one of NADA’s first institutional investors.
